City Hall Opening!

The Pevely City Hall lobby will be reopening to visitors at 8:00 am on Monday, May 4, 2020.

Unless entry to City Hall is absolutely necessary, visitors are encouraged to continue utilizing the drive-thru window and payment drop box to conduct business with the City. However, if visitors need to enter the City Hall lobby, they will be required to abide by social distancing standards and are encouraged to wear a face mask and gloves.

These standards will include allowing only one (1) visitor at each window at a time, maintaining an established distance between the visitor and the window counter top, and waiting at a marked location just inside the main entry doors if their destination window is occupied at the time of their arrival.

Flyers will be posted to help guide visitors and adherence to these guidelines is greatly appreciated.

Waste Management Livestream Earth Day Event

Good morning everyone! Please see the information from Paul at Waste Management regarding the 2020 Waste Management Earth Day live streaming event!

“Below is a formal invitation to the 2020 WM Earth Day livestream event this coming Wednesday April 22nd at 11:00 am.

We wanted to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Earth Day, and in doing so have developed an event for families with children K-12. We will have several members of our area recycling team, Kurt Theide who is the Regional Administrator for the US EPA – Region 5, and Stanley Merritt, Ph.D., a national leader in sustainability services all speaking about recycling at home, what happens to recyclables after they’re collected, and a little history on Earth Day itself.

We would love to see residents in the Pevely community participate in the event, and hope you will consider extending this to residents through your social media and website channels.

Here is a direct link to the website where we will be live streaming the event:
