DEA DRUG TAKE BACK PROGRAM

GET RID OF UNWANTED MEDICATION

On April 27th, 2019 between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. the Pevely Police Department in conjunction with the Drug Enforcement Administration’s Drug Take Back Program will conduct a Drug Take Back event at the Pevely Police Department, 401 Main Street, Pevely, Missouri.

The collection site will be available to any resident or non-resident wanting to remove unwanted, unused or expired medications from their homes and the community in a safe and environmentally responsible manner.

No needles may be accepted.  Intra-venous (IV) solutions, injectables, and syringes should NOT be accepted due to potential hazard posed by blood-borne pathogens.

Inhalers and other compressed air cylinders may NOT be accepted.

If you are unable to drop off your unwanted medications on April 27th, the Pevely Police Department has a Red Medication Collection Box available for drop offs 24 hours a day.  The collection box is located in the police department lobby.
