CHIEF OF POLICE
CITY OF PEVELY, MISSOURI
The City of Pevely is accepting applications for a Chief of Police.
Applicant must have knowledge of criminal and procedural law; the procedures, guidelines and equipment used in modern law enforcement activities; and skill in the use of firearms and other specialized law enforcement equipment.
Qualifications include a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice and/or an equivalent combination of training and experience; and a minimum of fifteen (15) years of law enforcement experience, which must include some supervisory experience.
Must pass a background investigation, have a valid Missouri State driver’s license, and be Missouri POST certified at the time of hire. Applications submitted after the deadline time and date will not be considered. Salary will be based on experience.
Candidates will be subject to pre-employment drug testing and background check.
